Like you, I've felt the sting of imposter syndrome, the weight of self-doubt, and the struggle to find my voice in the workplace.
I used to think that I could keep my head down and outwork everyone else and that opportunities would just come my way. That worked for a while—until it didn’t, and I realized I needed to make a shift from shy and soft-spoken to a self-advocating professional.
Along the way, I’ve transitioned careers SIX times (you read that right, and yes, on purpose!) and climbed that corporate ladder in every single one. From facing age, gender, and racial biases to juggling the roles of a boss, mom, wife, and entrepreneur, I've danced through it all. And I did it mostly solo, without the guidance I so deeply craved.
